Sandra Bullock Asked to Return Her Razzie Award

Sandra Bullock warmed up for the Oscars with a quick stop at the Razzies to collect a dubious honor: a worst-actress prize for her romantic comedy flop "All About Steve."

But unfortunately, the star was in such a rush, she accidentally walked off with the original handmade prototype trophy instead of the $5 replica she was supposed to receive, according to the British paper The Telegraph.

"We are ready to take the unprecedented step of asking a winner to return a Razzie," John Wilson, the awards co-founder, told the paper.

The star swung by the Razzies on the eve of her expected triumph at the 82nd Academy Awards, where she won best actress for "The Blind Side." The star is the first person to win an Oscar and a Razzie on the same weekend.

Since then, Bullock has been laying low after Internet rumors surfaced that she and her husband of five years, Jesse James, split after tattoo model Michelle "Bombshell" McGee claimed she had an affair with James while Bullock was making her Oscar-winning film.

The organization has decided to hold off on returning the original trophy out of respect of Bullock's privacy, according to the report.
