Russian voting booths heat up in new ad
A new political ad for Russia's conservatives marks a ribald attempt to attract young voters.
The ad, produced for Vladmir Putin's United Russia Party in advance of the December 4 parliamentary election and set to bouncing techno music, shows a beautiful woman waltzing into a polling station to vote - but not before some furtive glances are shared with another young Russian.
Good citizenship, it seems, is not without its rewards. After the woman invites the man into the polling booth and draws the curtain, some clothes are shed behind the privacy curtain.
The slogan "Let's Do It Together" appears on-screen, before the smiling couple - satisfied with having exercised their franchise - drop their ballots into the box.
