Rumsfeld To Testify On Pat Tillman's Death, Army Censures General
Former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld is scheduled to testify on Wednesday before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on what the Pentagon leadership knew about the death of former NFL star Pat Tillman.
Along with former Joints Chief Chairman Richard Meyers and retired Gen. John Abizaid, the former commander of Central Command, another ex-top general has been subpoenaed to appear - Lt. Gen. Philip Kensinger, the former head of U.S. Army Special Operations Command.
On Tuesday, according to The Associated Press, Kensinger, the Army "censured a retired three-star general [Kensinger] for the chain of errors that followed the friendly-fire death in 2004 of Army Ranger Pat Tillman"
