Royal baby to arrive this week? Camilla drops a hint
The world is waiting for the birth of Prince William and Kate's first child -- and it seems there isn't much longer to wait.
William's stepmother, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, dropped a hint Monday about when the royal baby could arrive.
"We are all just waiting by the telephone," she said during a visit to the Little Harbour Children's Hospice in Porthpean, England, according to the Daily Mail. "We are hopeful that by the end of the week he or she will be here."
At that same visit, grandfather-to-be Prince Charles greeted well-wisher Trudi Lindsay and her 3-week-old daughter, Ellie-Mae. "You've got one of these coming soon," Lindsay told him, according to the newspaper, to which the prince replied, "Hopefully!"
William and Kate's office at Kensington Palace has refused to confirm the duchess' exact due date, but she let slip during an appearance earlier this year that it is in mid-July.
