Rock With Blue Merle

They're rockers, but Blue Merle delivers more than just the electric guitar sound typical of the genre.

In fact, Blue Merle's Beau Stapleton plays the acoustic and electric mandolin; Luke Bulla plays the fiddle, Jason Oettel plays an upright bass; William Ellis plays the drums and percussion; and Luke Reynolds is the lead vocalist, who plays the guitar and keyboards.

The quartet of twenty-somethings from Nashville visits the Saturday Early Show's Second Cup Café to perform the title track from their critically-acclaimed debut album, "Burning in the Sun," along with, "Every Ship Must Sail Away" and "Lucky To Know You."

Stephen Harris produced the album. Harris has also produced for U2, Dave Matthews Band and Kula Shaker.
