Robert Pattinson is the new face of Dior Homme fragrance

Robert Pattinson is the newest face of Dior.

The fashion house announced Wednesday that the "Twilight" star, 27, will appear in a new ad campaign for its men's fragrance, Dior Homme.

"Today we are excited to announce that he will join the privileged circle of Dior faces," the announcement said, per WWD. "Photographed by American artist Nan Goldin and filmed by French director Romain Gavras, this new Dior Homme communication campaign is currently being broadcast exclusively in Europe (except UK) and Asia (except China and Japan)."

Rumors of Pattinson's involvement with Dior first surfaced last year, when E! News reported he had signed a three-year deal estimated to be worth close to $12 million. At that time, Dior denied any contract had been signed.

Pattinson joins a list of famous faces that have been spokespeople for Dior fragrances, including Charlize Theron, Jude Law and Natalie Portman.
