RNC's Michael Steele Fires Finance Director

Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele (pictured) has fired RNC finance director Rob Bickhart, according to Politico.

Bickhart was in charge of RNC finances when a staffer charged the party committee for a nearly $2,000 bill from a GOP outing at a topless, bondage-themed nightclub in California. The staffer was fired in March.

Politico reports that Bickhart will be replaced by former Republican Governors Association finance director Mary Heitman.

Steele also reportedly fired the deputy finance director, Debbie LeHardy, who had been under fire for expensing items at clothing boutiques on disclosure reports and deeming them office supplies.
