Richard Moller, Colo. man, charged with beating raccoons as revenge for his cat's death

(CBS) BOULDER, Colo. - A Boulder man has been arrested after police said he beat two raccoons with a nail-studded board in a dumpster as revenge for raccoons that killed his cat years ago.

Richard Moller has been charged with two counts of felony animal cruelty.

Boulder Daily Camera reports a witness told police on Monday he could hear the raccoons screaming and moaning before one of them died.

According to CBS Denver, Moller's bond was set at $1,000.
