Retailers push holiday deals extra-early

Retailers are jumpy about the tough economy, so they're getting into the Christmas spirit earlier than usual.

Instead of pushing candy and jack-o-lanterns leading up to Halloween, Santa-inspired bargains are already making their way into stores.

CBS News business and economics correspondent Rebecca Jarvis named a few incentives you can cash in on now, before the holiday rush begins. She shared the following deals on "The Early Show":

• Stauer: $249 amethyst necklace if you pay the shipping
• Nordstrom: Free shipping on most orders
• Raymour and Flanigan: No interest for four years
• Sears: Price matching plus 10 percent of difference in price
