Report: Steven Tyler in hotel shower mishap
(CBS) Aerosmith frontman and "American Idol" judge Steven Tyler was reportedly taken to a hospital in Paraguay after falling in his hotel bathroom.
The rocker suffered a cut eyebrow and lost two teeth, according to local newspaper ABC.
Reuters reports that a bellboy at the Bourbon Hotel in Asuncion told a local radio station that Tyler slipped while taking a shower and "had a nasty fall."
A relative of one of ABC's employees saw Tyler being brought into the emergency room at La Costa hospital, according to the paper, which adds that hospital officials would not comment.
The 62-year-old was scheduled to perform with Aerosmith in Paraguay on Tuesday, TMZ reports, but a rep for the venue told the website that the concert has been canceled.
When contacted by CBS News, the concert promoters noted that the two teeth Tyler lost were false and are therefore easily replaced.
