Police: 2 shot at Honolulu high school; teen in custody

HONOLULU - A Honolulu Police spokeswoman tells CBS News a 17-year-old suspect is in custody after two people were shot at Roosevelt High School in Honolulu Tuesday.

The police spokeswoman described the injuries as "non life-threatening."

The school was placed on lockdown following the incident.

Students reportedly told CBS affiliate KGMB that an individual was running around the school banging on doors.

A post on the school's website said the situation at the school is "under control."

"The Honolulu Police Department is wrapping up their investigation," the post read. "...Please remain calm."

The post said parents could pick up their children at the school's football field.
