On Thursday, police told the station that they are questioning the couple's son, Kyle, and plan to issue more search warrants in the case.

The Navin family owned a garbage removal business where Kyle also worked, according to the station.

The couple has reportedly been involved in a long-running court battle over a home they owned in Guilford, Conn. The house was foreclosed on in 2007 and Navin reportedly owes $2.2 million on it.
