Remains found in Okla. may be teen missing for over a year

WEATHERFORD, Okla.-  Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt says skeletal remains found Tuesday in Custer County in western Oklahoma may be those of a Weatherford girl missing for more than a year. A 19-year-old has been arrested in connection with the case.

Pruitt says the remains found in a wooded area north of Weatherford are believed to be those of JaRay Wilson and that the state medical examiner's office is working to positively identify them.

Wilson was 16 when she disappeared in October 2012 and authorities said previously that they feared she may have been sold into human trafficking.

CBS affiliate KWTV reports Tucker McGee has been arrested in connection with Wilson's murder, although authorities have not publicly said she was murdered.

Darrell Weaver, Executive Director of Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, reportedly said, "If we've come this far we obviously have some reliable information."

Authorities did not disclose details on McGee’s involvement in the case but said more arrests are possible.
