Read E-Books on Your Windows Mobile Device with eReader Pro

ereader.jpgeReader, one of my favorite sources for e-books, is currently offering the eReader Pro Bundle free of charge for Windows Mobile devices -- PDAs and smartphones alike. The bundle includes the eReader Pro program (normally $4.95) and three books: Jungles of Tarzan, Swiss Family Robinson, and A Tale of Two Cities. If you're looking for more than just public-domain classics, the eReader site offers thousands of mainstream commercial titles -- everything from Robert Ludlum to Stephen King to Jennifer Weiner.

Cooler still, the eReader software lets you purchase and download books directly to your device. If you haven't tried e-books, this is a great chance to do so without spending a penny. It may seem a little weird at first, reading a book on an electronic screen, but trust me when I say you'll get used to it -- and eventually grow to love having a good book at your side wherever you go.

eReader Pro is also available for Palm and Symbian devices, though you can't download books on the run: You have to purchase them on your PC and then sync them to your handheld. [via jkOnTheRun]
