Ravens Sign WR Eric Metcalf

Eric Metcalf, a wide receiver and running back who holds the NFL record with 11 kick-return touchdowns, agreed to terms Thursday with the Baltimore Ravens.

Metcalf, 31, an 11-year veteran, played under Ravens owner Art Modell with the Cleveland Browns before the franchise relocated to Baltimore.

Eric Matcalf, son of former Pro Bowl selection Terry Metcalf, played last season with Arizona. He had 31 receptions for 324 yard and brought back 43 punts for 295 yards.

Metcalf didn't score a touchdown last season, but in the season finale, he returned a kickoff 46 yards setting up the game-winning field goal in a victory that sent Arizona to the playoffs.

Metcalf has returned punts and kickoffs a combined 16,280 yards, an NFL record.
