(CBS) For fans who can't get enough of rock and roll memorabilia, things just got sunnier. Guernsey's Auction House in New York is set to auction some rare items, including Beatles photos by Astrid Kirchherr (who captured the band's early career in Germany).

Also on the auction block is Elvis Presley's first guitar and the last car owned by John Lennon.

Astrid Kirchherr was a photographer and Beatles bassist's Stuart Sutcliffe's girlfriend. She's often credited with helping The Beatles find a new look when they played a series of shows in Hamburg, Germany.

Sutcliffe left the band and remained in Germany with Kirchherr. He died of a brain hemorrhage in 1962.
