Queen Elizabeth II presented with park benches for Diamond Jubilee

(CBS News) If Queen Elizabeth II needs a place to sit and reflect on her 60 years on the British throne, she now has a new spot to do it.

The monarch, who is celebrating 60 years on the throne, was given a set of park benches on Wednesday to mark her Diamond Jubilee.

The benches were presented to her by the by the Royal Engineers Association during a reception in the Scarlet Room of Windsor Castle.

Events are taking place throughout the year marking the queen's Diamond Jubilee, but the main festivities will be held on June 2-5 in London. The celebrations will include a procession from Westminster Palace to Buckingham Palace (the queen and Prince Philip will ride in the 1902 State Landau), a flotilla on the River Thames and a concert with performances from Paul McCartney, Elton John and others.
