Push E-Mail to Your Smartphone with Emoze
Cure your BlackBerry envy with Emoze, a free (for now) service that provides push e-mail for Symbian and Windows Mobile smartphones. (Click here for a list of supported devices.)
All you do is install a small Emoze program on your PC and the Emoze mobile client on your phone. The service can push messages from Lotus Notes and all versions of Outlook, as well as Gmail and Yahoo. It can also sync your desktop contacts, calendar, etc. The only hitch is that you need to leave your PC running while you're out and about.
According to Download Squad, Emoze is soon to launch Enterprise and Pro versions that won't be free (though the latter will be quite affordable at $20/year). Fortunately, there are other free options out there, like Consilient, which also supports a broader range of handsets.
