Prince William, Kate Seek Final Unwed "Break"

CBS

It's been a busy time of late for Prince William and his bride to be Kate Middleton.

First, there was the over-hyped and yet thoroughly incorrect prediction that the couple, who have dated for more than seven years, were planning a massive wedding announcement. William and Kate laughed off this story; the much discussed "big date" in their diary was, in fact, to finalize arrangements for their South Africa trip.

"I relish the time we have alone, and I never read, see or touch a newspaper, as I figure none of the reporting is true," Kate told a palace source of mine. "But you can't get away from it."
