Preview: Roger Clemens speaks out on "CTM"

(CBS News) Roger Clemens is coming out of retirement at 50 years old to pitch for the independent minor league team, the Sugar Land Skeeters in Texas. The former Major League Baseball pitcher and 7-time Cy Young Award winner played 23 seasons for four teams and has been at the center of several steroid use and personal scandals since his retirement from the sport after the 2007 season. He was acquitted in June of charges of lying to Congress when he denied using performance-enhancing drugs.

Clemens is making headlines again with his re-entry into baseball and will sit down for his first interview on the matter Thursday morning on "CBS This Morning." Be sure to tune in at 7-9 a.m. ET.
