President Obama's Schedule Today (6/14/10)

In the morning, President Obama will travel to the Gulf Coast to assess the ongoing efforts to counter the BP oil spill.

Later in the morning, the president will receive a briefing with Admiral Thad Allen and local officials on efforts to fight the BP oil spill at the Coast Guard Station Gulfport in Gulfport, Mississippi. He will then host a roundtable and meet with local residents in Gulfport, Mississippi.

In the afternoon, Mr. Obama will travel to Theodore, Alabama. Upon arrival in Theodore, the president will tour the Theodore Staging Facility. Following the tour, the president will deliver remarks to the press.

Later in the afternoon, he will travel by ferry from Dauphin Island, Alabama to Fort Morgan, Alabama.

In the evening, Mr. Obama will travel to Pensacola, Florida and spend the night.
