President Obama's Schedule Today (5/28/10)

President Obama will travel to the Gulf Coast of Louisiana in the morning to assess the latest efforts to counter the oil spill. He leaves from Chicago where he is with his family to spend the Memorial Day weekend.

The president will attend a briefing by Admiral Thad Allen at the U.S. Coast Guard Station Grand Isle in Grand Isle, Louisiana after his arrival. He will then deliver remarks.

In the afternoon, Mr. Obama travels back to Chicago.
