President Obama's Schedule Today (5/10/10)
President Obama is expected to announce Elena Kagan as his Supreme Court nominee at 10 a.m. ET. In the morning, he will also receive the Presidential Daily Briefing and meet with members of the President's Intelligence Advisory Board.
In the afternoon, Mr. Obama will meet with senior advisers in the Oval Office. He will also meet with a number of Cabinet members and senior staff in the White House Situation Room to review BP efforts to stop the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico.
Later in the afternoon, the president will meet separately with Secretary of the Treasury Tim Geithner and Secretary of Energy Steven Chu in the Oval Office.
