President Obama's Schedule Today

President Obama today will meet with governors in the afternoon as part of his health care push. In the evening, he will participate in a nationality televised town hall on health care.

The president will also receive the presidential daily briefing and the economic daily briefing and meet with senior advisors today.

Governors Jennifer Granholm (D-MI), Jim Douglas (R-VT), Jim Doyle (D-WI), Mike Rounds (R-SD), and Christine Gregoire (D-WA) will participate in the afternoon meeting on health care.

It "will provide the governors with the opportunity to share with the President the lessons they took away from the Regional Forums [on Health Reform that took place earlier in the year], and to discuss the need to enact health reform that finally gets America's spiraling health care costs under control," according to the White House.
