President Obama's Schedule Today (12/13/10)

In the morning, President Obama and Vice President Biden will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. Later, the president and the First Lady Michelle Obama will deliver remarks and the president will sign into law the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 at Harriet Tubman Elementary School in Washington.

Later, Mr. Obama will meet with senior advisers in the Oval Office. In the afternoon, the president will welcome the Los Angeles Lakers to Washington, to honor their second consecutive NBA championship. At the event, Lakers coaches and staff will participate in a service project at a Washington D.C. Boys and Girls Club.

Later in the afternoon, the president will meet with U.N. Ambassadors in the Cabinet Room. The president and the vice president will then meet with Secretary Gates in the Oval Office.

In the evening, Mr. Obama will deliver remarks at the Diplomatic Corps Holiday Reception at the State Department.
