President Obama's Schedule Today (11/13/2009)

It may be daytime in America but it's night in Japan, and, as such, President Obama will be overnight at Hotel Okura in Tokyo for the remainer of the day.

On Saturday morning in Japan – Friday evening in America – the president will deliver a speech on the future of U.S. leadership in the Asia Pacific region at Suntory Hall in Tokyo. Later, Mr. Obama will visit with United States Embassy employees and their families.

Later the president will have lunch with Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko. After that, Mr. Obama departs Tokyo en route Singapore.

8:10AM: President Obama arrives at the Hotel Okura and remains overnight

7:50PM: President Obama departs en route Suntory Hall

7:55PM: President Obama arrives at Suntory Hall

8:00PM: President Obama delivers remarks

8:55PM: President Obama arrives Hotel Okura

9:05PM: President Obama greets US Embassy employees at the Hotel Okura

9:50PM: President Obama departs en route Imperial Palace

10:00PM: President Obama arrives at the Imperial Palace and is greeted by the Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko

10:05PM: President Obama and the Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko have lunch

11:35PM: President Obama departs en route Hotel Okura
