President Obama's Schedule Today (10/7/10)

In the morning, President Obama will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing and will then meet with senior advisers in the Oval Office. Later, Mr. Obama will sign the Intel Authorization Bill and the Reducing Over Classification Bill in the Oval Office. He will also meet with Secretary of the Treasury Tim Geithner in the Oval Office.

In the afternoon, the president will travel to Bowie, Maryland, to attend an event for Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley at Bowie State University. He will then travel to Chicago, where he will deliver remarks at an event for Democratic Senate candidate Alexi Giannoulias at the Drake Hotel. He will also attend a dinner event for Alexi Giannoulias at a private residence in Chicago before returning to Washington.
