President Obama's Schedule Today (10/29/09)
In the morning, President Obama will deliver remarks in the South Court of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building to members of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, National Federation of Independent Business and small business owners and organizations from across the country on the administration's plan to help small businesses.
In the afternoon, the president will meet with Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew of Singapore in the Oval Office. Later, Mr. Obama will meet with Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.). He will then sign the Girl Scouts USA Centennial Commemorative Coin Act and meet with senior advisers.
Late today, president will then meet with representatives of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, Congressional Black Caucus, Congressional Hispanic Caucus, and Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus on health insurance reform in the Roosevelt Room.
