President Obama's Schedule Today (10/21/09)

In the morning, President Obama will receive his daily briefings at the White House and meet with senior advisers. He will then meet with Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass.

In the afternoon, Mr. Obama will visit a small business in suburban Maryland where he will announce a package of initiatives designed to increase credit to small businesses.

Later, the president will then attend a Cabinet-level exercise at the Department of Treasury which will focus on the immediate aftermath of a fictitious catastrophic earthquake in the United States.

Mr . Obama will then travel to New Jersey, where he will deliver remarks at a rally for Democratic Gov. Jon Corzine at the Rothman Center at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Hackensack. He will return to Washington following the rally.
