President Obama's Schedule (8/6/10)

In the morning, President Obama will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing and the Economic Daily Briefing in the Oval Office.

Later in the morning, the president will make remarks on the economy and comment on the July employment numbers at Gelberg Signs, a small business in Washington, DC that is currently hiring new workers. Gelberg Signs is also expanding and making new investments in their equipment and technology thanks to two Small Business Administration loans. Mr. Obama will tour the small business and make remarks to a small group of workers.

In the afternoon, the president will meet with Secretary of State Clinton in the Oval Office.

Later in the afternoon, Mr. Obama will host a reception marking the Senate confirmation of Elena Kagan's nomination to the Supreme Court in the East Room.
