Possible ax murder probed in Alabama
Huntsville, Ala. – Police are investigating an overnight homicide in southwest Huntsville, reports the CBS affiliate here, WHNT-TV.
Authorities say one male was found dead in the home.
Investigators say an ax was found at the scene, and they believe the weapon could be consistent with injuries to the victim's head.
One person has been detained for questioning.
Two people called 911 to report the crime. One was the victim's wife.
Investigators are trying to determine whether the person of interest and the victim knew each other.
