Poppy In The Spotlight

Each week, the CBS drama "Without a Trace" follows the FBI's Missing Person Unit as they try to uncover the mystery of someone's disappearance.

Australian actress Poppy Montgomery visited The Early Show to discuss her role as FBI agent Samantha Spade in the successful television series.

Montgomery says "Without a Trace" is a fast-paced series about the Missing Person Squad that uses advanced psychological profiling techniques to trace the whereabouts of victims. Sometimes they are abducted, murdered, suicide victims or simply runaways.

The team reconstructs a "Day of Disappearance" timeline that details every minute of the 24 hours prior to the disappearance, following one simple rule: Learn who the victim is in order to learn where the victim is.
