SPOTSWOOD, N.J. - Police have released details of a bizarre burglary that occurred earlier this year in New Jersey, and it includes a little hide 'n seek, reports CBS New York.
According to the station, Jason Hubbard was arrested on May 10 after police received a 911 call about an intruder at a home in Spotswood, about 30 miles from Manhattan.
Hubbard got into the house through the front door while the homeowner was taking out the garbage, police said.
He then hid under a bed in a spare bedroom for three days until the homeowner heard a noise, found him, and called the authorities, Spotswood police told CBS New York.
Hubbard is charged with burglary, criminal trespass, and theft of service.
That last one is because he allegedly charged his four cell phones while hiding under the bed.
