Police: Maryland man kills mother, then himself
LUTHERVILLE, Md. -- Police believe a Maryland man shot and killed his mother, before turning the gun on himself, reports CBS Baltimore.
Baltimore County police were called Monday to the Lutherville, Md., home where 42-year-old Keith Calvert and his 78-year-old mother Carryl Calvert lived, after neighbors noticed mail had piled up outside.
According to Baltimore County Police, officers were called to the scene on Greenridge Road by neighbors who noticed mail had been piling up outside the home.
It is not yet clear when the Calverts died. Detectives say Keith Calvert was his mother's sole caregiver and he had recently expressed frustrations over caring for his mother alone.
