Pfeiffer Dons Corset For Period Role
Michelle Pfeiffer has slipped into a corset again for her new period movie "Chéri".
Pfeiffer, who appeared in the 1988 Stephen Frears film "Dangerous Liaisons", has teamed up with the director again to play an aging courtesan who begins seeing a much younger man, played by Rupert Friend.
Pfeiffer told Early Show co-anchor Harry Smith there is still a stigma attached to older women seeing younger men.
"It's sort of still changing," she said. "...Not without controversy, or we wouldn't be making movies about it."
"Chéri" will open in limted release on June 26, 2009.
