Perez Hilton writes a children's book

(CBS/AP) Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton has written a children's book that will hit bookshelves this fall.

Hilton's "The Boy With Pink Hair" is set for a release in September, Celebra Children's Books, an imprint of Penguin Young Reader's Group, announced Tuesday.

Illustrated by Jen Hill, the picture book tells of a boy with a "shock of fabulous hair" and "celebrates individuality and acceptance"

Hilton is not new to the book world. He's collaborated on grown-up books, too: "Perez Hilton's True Bloggywood Stories" and "Red Carpet Suicide: A Surivial Guide on Keeping Up With the Hiltons"
