Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem Expecting First Child

NEW YORK (CBS) Penelope Cruz and new husband Javier Bardem will soon welcome their first child together.

A rep for the Spanish Oscar-winning duo confirmed to People magazine that Cruz is 4 1/2 months pregnant.

Cruz, who will appear next in "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides," alongside Johnny Depp, was recently spotted on set in Puerto Rico wearing a flowing top with an apparent baby bump, fueling pregnancy rumors.

Cruz, 36, and Bardem, 41, wed back in Julyduring a small, discrete ceremony in the Bahamas. The two, who are notoriously known for keeping their relationship ultra private, started dating in 2007.

They appeared together in Woody Allen's 2009 flick, "Vicky Cristina Barcelona," for which Cruz took home an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.

In 2008, Bardem won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role as a killer in the Coen brothers' 2007 film, "No Country for Old Men.
