Pelosi Continues To Sidestep Presidential Endorsement

Speaker Nancy Pelosi is continuing her refusal to endorse either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama.

Pelosi (D-Calif.) who is chairing the Democratic Convention, simply said "No" when asked this morning whether she would offer an endorsement.

Pelosi said she had no knowledge of why Obama was on the House floor Thursday morning, but shortly after her press conference she walked into the chamber and saw Obama.

"I don't know if he was invited by members," Pelosi said.

The California Democrat also declined to call for an end to the Democratic presidential race.

"Me, I like combat," Pelosi said. "The best training for campaigning is campaigning."
