NEW YORK (CBS) Pee-wee Herman took Jimmy Fallon on a "big adventure" Thursday night.

The star of "Pee-wee's Playhouse" and the upcoming "The Pee-wee Herman Show" stopped by "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" and took the host on a ride around the studio on a bicycle built for two.

The two made a loop around Fallon's studio. "Ohmigod, deja vu!" Herman yelled, as they passed the audience again. He also revealed a secret word, in typical Pee-wee fashion.

Herman has been making the media rounds to promote his Broadway show. On Thursday, he was snapped filming a segment with Regis Philbin for "Live with Regis and Kelly," which is set to air on Tuesday. The two hit a number of NYC locations while taping the segment, including the M&M's store in Times Square, where they were photographed making a getaway with some candy.

"The Pee-wee Herman Show" begins previews on Oct. 26, and officially opens Nov. 11.
