MIAMI, Fla. (CBS/AP) Surveillance video from a Miami night club shows murdered model Paula Sladewski's last moments seen alive, according to her boyfriend's lawyer.

"The video shows Paula left the club alone," said Marc Beginin, who represents Sladewski's boyfriend Kevin Klym. Police have called Klym a person of interest.

"Additionally it shows another gentleman following her out of the night club. That is the person police should be looking for," Beginin said.

The attorney also claims that he spoke with Sladewski's sister, Kelly Farris, who, he says, confirmed Sladewski's identity on the tape.

Miami police have said they can't be sure who is on the video.

On the tape, a blond woman in a short skirt and high heels can be seen leaving the club alone at 7:21 a.m. That matches the description Klym gave police in a missing person report he filed around 10 p.m. that night.

A man is seen walking out after the blonde in the video, but it is not at all clear that they are together or that he is following her as Klym's lawyer claimed.

Sladewski's still burning body was found Jan. 3 in a dumpster outside a propane company nearly 100 blocks from a trendy South Beach, Miami night club where she had been partying with Klym.

In the missing person report, Klym told police bouncers threw him out of Club Space early Sunday morning after a drunken argument with Sladewski. He said he went straight to his hotel and had not seen her since.

Beginin said he believes hotel video will vindicate Klym's story.

Sladewski's sister told CBS Miami affiliate that she does not believe Klym had anything to do with her sister's murder. "He had no way of transporting her. They didn't even have a rental car. He couldn't have taken her to the propane place."

But Sladewski's stepfather, Richard Watkins, told Crimesider the pair had a violent relationship and he had begged them to separate.

Last year, Sladewski was arrested for breaking a bottle over Klym's head, according to a police report and Watkins' description of the attack. Charges were later dropped.

In December, Klym was arrested for breaking Sladewski's nose and part of her cheek, according to a Michigan police report. That case has not been adjudicated.

Sladewski was an aspiring model who appeared in a 2003 Playboy talent search video. Recently, she worked as an exotic dancer to make money. Klym listed his occupation as laborer on the missing person report. The couple lived between Michigan and California.
