Paul McCartney, Jimmy Fallon Perform "Scrambled Eggs" Version of "Yesterday"

NEW YORK (CBS) When Sir Paul McCartney stopped by to visit Jimmy Fallon on "Late Night" Thursday, the former Beatle talked about the origins of the classic hit "Yesterday."

To help him "remember the timing of the words," McCartney said the song originally included a food-themed placeholder phrase.

Fallon then asked McCartney to perform the never-before-heard "Scrambled Eggs" version with him, which he willingly obliged.

"Scrambled eggs / Oh my baby, how I love your legs / Not as much as I love scrambled eggs / Oh we should eat some scrambled eggs," they crooned.
