Patrick Schwarzenegger hurt in skiing accident
(CBS/AP) Patrick Schwarzenegger, the 18-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, says he has been treated for injuries after getting in "a little ski accident" in Idaho.
"Little ski accident today. Some bruises and stitches down back and but (sic). Thanks to sun valley doctors for everything," he tweeted along with a picture of himself on a stretcher.
Patrick Schwarzenegger also tweeted another picture of himself he posted on Instagram showing a deep cut on his lower back, saying "My ski accident "living the hurt lifestyle" Lawford."
He did not say how exactly he was hurt. A request for further details late Saturday from Shriver's spokesman was not immediately returned.
But, he tweeted an update on Sunday saying he was back on the slopes.
"Appreciate all the messages, love all you. I'm actually feeling really good today, and I even went skiing again today. Thanks again!!"
In 2006, Arnold Schwarzenegger broke his leg in a ski accident at Sun Valley while he was governor of California.
