Patricia Heaton apologizes for Twitter rant over Sandra Fluke

(CBS) Rush Limbaugh isn't the only one apologizing to Sandra Fluke.

Actress Patricia Heaton is also saying sorry to the Georgetown University law student whom Limbaugh called a "slut" and a "prostitute" on his radio show following her testimony before Congress about contraception. Heaton is  apologizing for sending a series of negative tweets directed at her.

Those messages no longer appear on the actress' Twitter page, but Us Weekly reports that they included, "If every Tweaton sent Georgetown Gal one condom, her parents wouldn't have to cancel basic cable, & she would never reproduce -- sound good?"

Heaton, known for her roles on "Everybody Loves Raymond" and "The Middle," issued an apology to Fluke on Saturday:
