Parents fight at kindergarten graduation in Cleveland, 8 in custody, report says

(CBS) CLEVELAND, Ohio - A fight at a Cleveland kindergarten graduation ended with eight people being taken into police custody, CBS affiliate WOIO reports.

The scuffle apparently broke out when some refreshments were spilled.

According to the station, a fight broke out at around 11 a.m. on Friday, May 31, following a kindergarten graduation at Michael R. White Elementary School in Cleveland.

Witnesses reportedly say the fight broke out between parents after some punch was accidentally spilled.

Police recovered a hammer at the scene, the station reports.

Police reportedly told WOIO that the suspects will be charged with inciting a riot.
