Palin's Latest Online Destination: LinkedIn

The 2008 vice presidential candidate is one of about 50 million people on the site, which gives professionals a place to post their resumes and network.
Palin has a profile on the site that lists her professional history dating back to 1992, as well as her education. It also links to her political action committee, SarahPAC, and declares that she is interested in job inquiries, business deals, expertise requests, reference requests and getting back in touch. She has more than 500 "connections" on the Web site.
Palin had a separate LinkedIn page during the 2008 campaign that listed more of the higher education institutions she attended.
Representatives for Palin did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the LinkedIn page.
The former governor, who resigned from her post in Alaska in July, has stayed a part of the national political discourse through online media like Facebook. On Saturday, Palin wrote a Facebook note regarding the Senate Finance Committee's health care bill.
"Those driving this plan no doubt have good intentions, but good intentions aren't enough," she wrote. "If we don't fight for the market-oriented, patient-centered, and result-driven reform plan that we deserve, we'll be left with the disastrous unintended consequences of the plans currently being cooked up in Washington."
