(CBS) - A Pennsylvania teenager who was aboard Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas cruise ship to celebrate her high school graduation with her family says an entertainer aboard the ship got her drunk and raped her, according to a report.

The 17-year-old filed a civil lawsuit Thursday in federal court in Miami against Royal Caribbean Cruises. The incident was reported to the FBI, but no criminal charges appear to have been filed, reports The Miami Herald.

The girl and her family boarded the ship at Port Everglades on March 3. Two days later, when the ship was in international waters, she was listening to a band when the singer invited her to dance, according to the lawsuit. Later, the suit says the man ordered her several alcoholic drinks at the bar, according to the Herald.

The then "extremely intoxicated and impaired" teen went with the singer to his room. Once in the room he engaged in sexual activity with the girl. Another man was present and took photographs during the incident, the suit says, according to the paper.

Once she was allowed to leave, the girl sat in a hallway crying, where an employee found her. She gave a statement and was taken to the medical center for examination, the paper reports.

Royal Caribbean spokeswoman Cynthia Martinez said in a statement the incident was immediately reported to the FBI and that a team from the company offered the passenger medical care and counseling.

When the ship returned to Port Everglades, Martinez said, FBI agents boarded and investigated.
