Organize and Launch Applications with RocketDock (Windows)

RocketDock organizes your frequently used programs into a Mac-like toolbar. Just drag program icons to the dock, which "hangs" from the top of the screen. As you mouse over icons, they jump to the forefront -- just like the Mac OS dock. Cool.

The utility offers a wealth of nifty features, including the option to minimize running programs to the dock instead of the Windows taskbar. You can reposition the dock to the bottom or sides of the screen and choose from dozens of included themes -- with hundreds more available online.

In short, it's a great little launcher, especially for Mac users forced to run Windows at the office. But I think any user would find it preferable to wading through Windows' Start Menu in search of frequently used apps. That said, I remain a Launchy man, as I prefer to keep my hands on the keyboard. What's your preferred method for quick-launching programs? [via Confessions of a freeware junkie]
