Olausson Signs With Ducks

Free-agent defenseman Fredrik Olausson has signed a two-year contract with the Anaheim Mighty Ducks, president-general manager Pierre Gauthier announced Friday.

A 12-year NHL veteran, the 6-foot, 198-pound Swede has appeared in 787 games, scoring 112 goals and assisting on 356. He previously spent parts of two seasons with the Mighty Ducks in 1995-96 and 1996-87. He has also played for Winnipeg and Edmonton.
