Obama's Big Day Generates E-Jihad Buzz

On the Jihadi forums of Hanein, a blogger called "Spot of Light" posted a posting on "Faloja Forums" titled: "Al Qaeda, Sheikh Usama, and the Enemies' Terrorizing Theory," Safafi assumed that, in his audio statement released last week, al Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden delivered a coded message to his followers, and that this coded message was linked to Obama's inauguration.
"The Sheikh said 'God has bestowed us with the patience to continue the path of Jihad for another seven years, and seven and seven.' Seven plus seven plus seven equal twenty-one. That's the first day of Obama's mandate!" Safafi concluded creatively.
"Two more days to go until …….. !!!!!!!!!! Obama's inauguration as President of the 'Destroyed' States of America," said over-excited blogger "Addawla" on the same forum. "May Allah keep the aim of the Mujahideen focused," replied another member.
Other seemed decidedly less inspired by the event.
"God **** it. We don't care. He is not going to make any difference. It's the Zionist lobby that rules America," wrote "Makloom."
"What happens when you replace the Donkey with the Foal? Tomorrow, the Foal, too, will grow into a Donkey, responded "Asheq al-Haramein."
In their debate over Obama's policies regarding Iraq, Baathists predicted that the newly elected President would try and "rid America of its losing wars," and simply withdraw from Iraq.
"The second scenario would be that the Zionist lobby will assassinate Obama in order to pave the way for 'Biden' the Zionist to take over and lead America in a war against the Great Iraqi Army, at any cost, and using all sorts of weapons," suggested Maher Ali in his posting on the forum of the, "Supporters of the Jihad and Liberation General Command."
Taliban supporters seemed a bit uncertain about Afghanistan's future with Obama in the White House. The group released an Internet statement this week claiming the U.S. is losing the support of its NATO allies in Afghanistan.
