"Obama-Spendorama"

That’s the new Senate Republican title for spending proposals by Democrat Barack Obama’s presidential campaign.

New Hampshire Sen. Judd Gregg, the ranking Republican on the Senate Budget Committee, coined the term at a press briefing with reporters Tuesday. And he said the GOP will target “President-elect Obama” proposals, which Gregg claimed could add $312 billion in spending each year, in next week’s Senate floor debate on the 2009 budget resolution.
